WELCOME TO THE

SUNK MINE
HOMEPAGE

A Photo Album for our Friends and Family

So, ... what isSunkMine?
SunkMine, or actually, Sunken Mine Road, is the old name
of our road, before the developers came in and gave it a more genteel name.
Sunken Mine is an old iron mine used to feed the weapons of destruction at West Point,
just across the Hudson. The old Sunken Mine Road now runs through a heavily wooded northern suburb of New York City, skirting a lake, and then up to cross a trailhead of the Appalachian Trail.
This is a photo album of fun, embarassing, random shots from the SunkMine archives... its kinda personal...

where do YOU want to go today? ...
